Best Paid Forum Software

Do you have a favourite among paid forum software? Any particular reason you like to go with a specific brand?

Even though I haven't had the opportunity to have a paid forum software, I must say I'm quite impressed with Xenforo. Most of the forums I'm on, they are run by Xenforo. & I've been on Staff on a few of them so I've been able to see the control panels.
I like it because it is so popular. More people who have it, more you can get help if needed.

Xenforo is the platform I was thinking of migrating over to.

↩ ZandraJoi The good thing about Xenforo is that you can manage with a shared hosting package.

Most popular free forums require a VPS these days.

My favorite paid software is Xenforo. I'm currently using it for one of my two forums I own. I like the support, the fast loading times and the sleek look. Plus it's cheaper than IPB and vBulletin and it's just generally better than the competition IMO.

I do not have any experience with Xenforo as an admin, however, as a user, I find this forum software really nice. I do not have any experience with using the premium forum software. I do not have a budget to pay for forum software, I am fine with the open source forum software.

It's always going to be XenForo software for me when it comes to paid forum software. I have used WordPress but it never gave the satisfaction of using XenForo. The themes of XenForo is awesome.

↩ nomad Xenforo has been one of the best software that I've seen. It is not free, but it is really worth the price as your forum will have a lot of great features.

There's no way anyone would be expecting Xenforo to be a free forum software looking at all the features it come with. Maybe the company might think about having a free version of their product but it's not something realistic now I should say.

When it comes to paid forum software I was always a fan of vBulletin until they released 4. Once they released 4 I was never a fan of the changes and I ended up moving to Xenforo. Over the years Xenforo has made some great upgrades to its software. It was in the beginning and it is still now my favorite paid software.

It is nice to see that vB is still afloat. Can't get a couple of good PR and dev people and put the horse back on track?

Look how well some free software are performing. Is it hard to mimic it?

For paid forum software I would say Xenforo is the best.

There's no better paid forum software above Xenforo in my eyes. It's what I've been working with for years and I've not been let down once. WordPress and Invision Community is good as well.
