I use Namecheap out of habit, but probably there are similar cheap sites out there. Anyway, something to think about is how only the first year is cheap with most Namecheap domain registrations.

I'm speaking of stuff like Jcink, ProBoards etc., not non-self-install versions of XenForo etc.. Also, this is not referring to forum software like MyBB etc. that can be one-click (similar to that) on Softaicious. Well, what do you find you like? How would you compare them to other types of forum software? How would you compare the F.S.W.I brands to each other?

I think such a deal is a big ripoff. It's for people who are inexperienced, but it's not hard to learn how to install and maintain premium forum software.

I have three separate shared hosting accounts. I do this because I get a free lifetime SSL with each one and the price for each individual one is very affordable. But If traffic increases, then perhaps I will need some upgrade to something, but VPS isn't available with that company. I will have to contact them to see what the next move should be.

I use NameCheap also, but out of habit. I'm not sure if the deals are better at other places, or the same, or worse. And before, I used GoDaddy for domain registrations. I stopped there but not because I thought they did something negative.

Who is into that? Is it even available these days? Is it worth the time? What are pros and cons of it?

It has no preview page. Does it work well on mobile? And again, why not get a preview page, lol. Does anyone know of forums being run on it? Does it have a preview on Softalicious?

A popular poster on Aministrata.net and Admin-Junkies.com uses it. It works well on his stuff and, therefore, I'm impressed with the new vB. I wonder if word has gotten around yet.

WoltLab is 45 USD cheaper than XenForo. Is that a big enough savings? Does anyone feel WoltLab is a better deal than with other paid forum software?

The TapaTalk free version is too loaded with ads, but perhaps the paid version is awesome. I don't really know. And as for MyBB, it used to be really good, but now it's tough to get MyAlerts working and it's so vital to the software.
