I think the price will be according to their usual pricing style. Invision never cared much about the segment where people are looking for budget-friendly software. Possibly because they prefer the enterprise sector.
I can't say that is entirely true. Because I know a few Invision powered communities that are not enterprise. Mostly run by individuals.

I have no objection to how they price their product. The only thing is that hobbyists find it hard. Personal projects, for one reason or another, have an affinity for pocket-friendly software.

They are offering dark mode. It has kind of become a standard these days. Linux had it for ages. WoltLab added it in 6.0, Flarum had ways to do that like 2 years ago.
Yes, dark mode is the new normal. Everyone likes to add one, even if they are not going to use it.
As if software without one is a bit inferior. I like dark themes, help save the eye. Some of them are bad though. Very poor selection or combination of colours. Why do people ignore standard dark-mode colour palettes like Nord or Dracula?
Page builder will be a first. I don't see myself using it here. Only because I like stable, conventional layout.
Don't want old timers get confused with something very custom. I had my share of that when I use Flarum. I like the discussion layout. That is my favourite. But if you are not going to use the forum alone, it is better to consider what other like to have.

NodeBB is also an option. But all those won't work on a normal, affordable sharing hosting package.

It is convenient when we directly go to what is new. I don't know whether there is anything that ruins our SEO. Because our home page content is changing all the time. Plus, SPAs are not great for SEO at the moment.

Well, there are software that offer such layouts. We can get ourselves a custom theme as well showcasing forums as cards. This one looks free and pre-built.
Their default theme is highly customisable. Recently saw something like this on a forum. Xenforo has a theme house that builds themes like that. They are popular and got many paying customers.
Invision has been doing some good things recently. They are adding more features and goodies. I like that, that are surely tempting.
Did you see Community Hive from Invision?
Yes, but I am still not sure what it is. From what I have seen so far, perhaps something like Google News. Feeds from other sites on a single community.

That is what I thought as well. But they are allowing integrations from Xenforo, WordPress, squarespace etc.
I remember seeing on Twitter that Community Hive is looking for someone to make plugins for Xenforo.
