It takes too much space and resources. Adds more components every now and then. I would rather pay an app developer than dedicating a whole PC for it.

What?? For beginners, Markdown is confusing too. WYSIWYG should be a standard these days.

I am not sure whether it is better or not, but it is kind of standard and most CMS are using it without fail.
