Both Github repo and Void website does not offer any build to test at the moment. There is a Discord channel where you can keep up or enter your email to get notified when Void has a build ready for you to use.

Void is a free and open-source text editor for developers with AI features. It supports locally hosted LLMs as well as Gemini, ChatGPT and Claude.

Void comes with advanced AI features like auto code completion, in-line auto editing, sidebar where you can ask questions (something like in Android Studio)

The popular online graphics tool Canva has reportedly increased the price for their " Canva Teams " plan significantly. As with every price hike, there is a lot of murmur about it on social media and a lot of people are not happy about it

But Canva justifies the changes citing that it is offering high-end AI tools as a part of their high end plans. Canva also suggests removing inactive team members or use the free version if the price hiking is affecting users.

Canva has been through some high profile acquisitions like getting Leonard AI and Affinity Serif onboard. These tools are now a part of Canva family and are offering great value addition to users. It is possible that these expensive purchases might have influenced the pricing structure of Canva.

Kdenlive is a video editor that works on both Windows and Linux. It has a Mac version too.

Apart from regular video editing tasks, it can effectively remove green screen using option like Chroma Key. It is as easy as dragging the effect into your desired video clip.

An update from any WoltLab Suite 6.1 Beta 1 to the gold release IS NOT guaranteed. The beta versions can be used until Oct 31, 2024 even if your license expires during that period.

WoltLab Suite 6.1 requires the following prerequisites to install and run the software:

    • Webserver with PHP 8.1.2+, PHP 8.2 or PHP 8.3 (*)
    • MySQL 8.0.30+ or MariaDB 10.5.12+
    • Current Webbrowser

(*) PHP 8.4 is currently unsupported. We’ll add support after PHP 8.4 RC 1 is released, which is currently scheduled for Sep 26, 2024.

I like it too. Not hard, you know?

Sadly, GIMP has very few active developers. Even though millions use it. The good thing is, it is supported by the Gnome foundation which is capable of getting projects done.
