GIMP's next dev version might feature CMYK support. Not 100% but they have gone far ahead with the task. Let us wait and see what 2.99.12 has in store for us.

I came to know about GIMP only after I started learning Photoshop. Since I already had photoshop, I did not use GUMP, however, I did try it a couple of times and I did not like the floating screen. Does it still have a floating screens? I have not checked it for a long time.

I use GIMP for my forum images. I don't want to pay a monthly subscription fee to use Photoshop, if Adobe allowed us to purchase Photoshop separately like they did in the past I might make the switch. For now, there's no reason for me to stop using GIMP.
