XMB is a forum software that's been around for a long time now. It stands for "eXtreme Message Board", the project was abandoned for a few years until a couple of years ago it was revived. Though seeing how the software hasn't been updated too much, I think it's safe to say it might become abandoned again in the future. The membergroups are interesting, this software has two separate Admin groups. Super Administrators can control everything on the forum, normal Administrators can access almost everything in the ACP but they can't access the upgrade section nor can they read other member's private messages (which are called u2us) nor can they edit a member's profile. Global Moderators are called Super Moderators in this software. The software seems quite outdated, I've used it before but not on a live community. You can read more about it over on their wiki:

Looks very much like old day vBulletin 3.

Where is this from? Not seen it, not going to use it.
These are very less maintained kind of projects. Hard to invest our time in it.
