Free software can be good enough as paid for most people, but it requires some Do-It-Yourself (DIY) work. Myself, I'm using phpBB when probably I could afford premium (I have a good job etc.), but I've wanted to play around with free software (I like DIY sometimes) and lately I've wanted to try styles from Planet Styles.

I like the software, but the name is a slur, honestly. Where do they get these names? For instance, the mod for math notation is LATEX, lol.

After the Open Weight models, OpenAI has released GPT-5. A model with better reasoning power and can remember its old answers in a long thread.
