I kind of like it. Mainly because it has so many features.
People say it is costly, focuses on enterprises etc. But for me, I would like to use it on a project if it works for me. It is a reliable software and has a strong ecosystem.

Yeah that is what it seems to be, they like to use it due to the number of features it has which is understandable, especially if the community you are building can benefit from the features as well.
They got themselves a lot of bad press. Maybe not entirely their doing. They hardly get the love other forum software wins from the crowd.
I not looking for biased reviews. I will take a demo of the software and see whether it matches my needs.
If that part is ok, people can say what they want. If it works, that is all matters.
